1. Disclaimer: Not a Government Entity
Adhyapak Setu is an independent, private educational and utility toolkit developed specifically to help teachers with daily calculations, document generation, and educational updates. We do not represent any government entity. All information provided is for reference purposes and should be verified with official government sources.

2. User-Generated Content (UGC) & Community Forum
Our app features a community forum (similar to Quora) where users can post questions, answers, and educational content.

  • Public Visibility: Any text, questions, or answers you post in the forum are visible to other registered users of the app. Your display name may be shown alongside your posts.
  • Content Moderation: We do not allow objectionable content, including but not limited to: hate speech, nudity, violence, or harassment.
  • Reporting and Blocking: To ensure a safe environment, we provide built-in tools for users to Report offensive content and Block abusive users. Our team reviews reports within 24-48 hours and takes appropriate action, including content removal or user suspension.

3. Information We Collect & Data Storage
To provide forum and AI features, we collect the following data:

  • Personal Information: When you log in via Google (OAuth), we collect your Name, Email ID, and a unique User ID to manage your profile and identify your posts.
  • User Content (Text): We collect and store the text you post in the forum (questions/answers) and the queries you send to the AI Chat on our secure servers/database.
  • App Activity: We collect information about your interactions within the app (likes, views, clicks) to improve app functionality and provide relevant content.

4. AI Chat Assistant & Third-Party APIs
Our app includes an AI Assistant powered by third-party APIs (e.g., Groq/OpenAI).

  • Data Handling: The text you input into the AI chat is sent securely to the API provider to generate a response. This data is processed according to the provider's security standards.
  • Caution: Do not share sensitive personal, financial, or confidential information in the AI chat. AI-generated responses should be verified for accuracy.

5. Device Permissions
We request specific permissions only when necessary:

  • Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Used for Voice Search and AI Voice input. Audio is processed for speech-to-text and not stored as voice recordings.
  • Camera & Location: Required for the "NoteCam" feature to stamp GPS data on photos locally. We do not track your live location.
  • Storage: To save generated PDF reports and manage app data locally.

6. Data Deletion & Account Removal
We give you full control over your data:

  • Account Deletion: You can request full account and data deletion by emailing shikshaksetubihar@gmail.com. Upon request, your profile and all associated data will be removed from our servers within 7-14 days.
  • In-App Deletion: Users can delete their individual forum posts directly through the app interface.

7. Children's Privacy
Adhyapak Setu is intended for educators and adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
